last day. haha
went to airport quite early. flight is at 9.55 Bangkok time. reached there at 6PM.
around 1 hour to complete all the custom and immigration. started wondering around in the airport around 7 – look for halal food. on the day i arrived in Bangkok, i didnt spend much time at the airport. quickly left to the hotel.
the airport? soooooo big. it’s a wise choice to identify which gate is your flight before you walk around as you might need some time to reach your gate.
there are 2 halal food available. one is on 4th floor, in between Gate E and F. there is a number of restaurant in that area. the restaurant can easily be spotted – there is halal sign. it served western, arab, vegetarian, thailand and japanese food. they accept amex.
i cant recall the other one. but it is near to the one of the information counter. it’s either on 4th or 3rd floor. this one server arabic food.
Went to Asiatique The Riverfront, by boat. From BTS Saphan Taksin, there is free shuttle boat to Asiatique (http://www.thaiasiatique.com/index.php/en/view/page/getting-here)
Tempat tu memang tourist attraction. Asalnya pelabuhan lama, dah dijadikan tempat pelancongan. Tak pasti nak samakan tempat tu dengan tempat mana kat Malaysia. Tapi yang pasti, area pasar payang or terengganu waterfront boleh dijadikan tempat macam ni. tapi kena tengok jugak la berapa ramai pelancong.
Ada banyak kedai makan disini. Ada 1 gerai yang jual Kebab, halal.
Since shuttle boat tu free, expect a little longer waiting time.
you will be given a card at the entrance to the food court. place order at any vendor you like, pass the card. payment is made at the exit of the food court. they didnt accept amex but do accept visa and mastercard. JCB is also accepted, if i am not wrong.
kerja tu memang ye doh.
went to MBK.
ada beberapa pilihan kedai makan halal di MBK. there is a restaurant and also 3 shops serving halal food at their food court, The Fifth Food Avenue.
MBK located near to BTS Skytrain Station. Walking distance both either from Siam station or National Stadium. Map is here
Makan di Yana Restoran. Boleh pulak bini aku bukak restoran kat Bangkok. haha
Yana Restaurant is at 5th Floor. Opposite the foodcourt. Kalau masuk MBK tu, memang ad signange “International Food 5th Floor”. Ada banyak restoran kat tingkat 5 tu.
Work, as usual.
They have “motorcycle-taxi”. bukannya tuk-tuk tu. tapi memang motosikal yang menyediakan khidmat hantar/angkut orang. this motorcycle-taxi can easily spotted as the rider wear a fluorescent bib. the rider did wear a helmet. but we, the passenger didn’t.
As suggested by the hotel lady, we went to Nana. 3 station from Siam. Can easily spot Indian Vegetarian restaurant as we out from the station.
Need to walk a bit to locate “arab district”. look for Sukhumvit 5 alley. can easily see few resturant from there – https://firstname.lastname@example.org,100.5539286,18z it is like a small arab town, one block away from the main road. a lot of Halal Restaurant.
they accept credit card. but not Amex.
Gourmet Market. Just like Aeon Big or mydin or tesco. Halal chocolocate milk and bread available. White bread by farm house got halal sign on their packaging. same goes to the milk.
trip kerja la. haha
KUL to BKK, 4.55pm from KLIA.
stay in the city, Novotel. sangat hampir dengan BTS Siam.
BTS is the skyline. from airport, can take airport link to Phaya Tai. Phaya Tai is connected to BTS line. But, not on the same journey. so, need to out from airport link station, buy another ticket. BTS Phaya Tai is 3 station to Siam. BTS Siam near to Paragon Mall, Siam Centre dan lain lain tempat beli belah.
There is one halal food restaurant in Paragon Mall, located at the food court area. Royal India. accept credit card. The food is good. no picture of the Beriyani. haha
handy when dont have a public facing host to receive the request.
mklink /j C:\symlink\folder\to\be\created C:\the\actual\path
mklink /j C:\Users\aalim\Desktop\photo C:\photos
the above command will create a folder named photo which actually “linked” to the actual folder of C:\photo
